VM 360 option to set up search to record a film in the future

  • Hi - my old TiVo box allowed me to set up a search to record say a particular film if it was aired on any of my channels in the future. I had a few of these searches set up and it was great to find they had recorded when I hadn’t known they would be on. You could name the film / director /actor and it would store this search criteria.  I can’t find that feature with my new 360. Does anyone know if it’s possible and where it is? Thank you.

Unfortunately that option isn't available with the 360 software.

You can only set recordings / series links when the program shows on the TVGuide.

That and many other Tivo/V6 functions aren't available on the 360.

The truth is out. It's a downgrade misold as an 'upgrade'.

VMs profits are upgraded  as they don't have to pay for Tivo licences, that's probably what they meant.
