Agreed this is very poor work by Virgin Media.
it looks like a low budget, under-resourced set of changes in which multiple features have been lost in favour of a superficial ‘eye candy’ upgrade.
The update is also unreliable, errors, glitches and even woeful plaintive messages to check whether your series link recordings have been scheduled. What kind of quality assurance goes on there? this is barely beta release level. Pitiful that a side-grade update should be so poorly executed.
I pay north of £1200 a year to VM but as I think about this, I’m convinced ending my contract is the way to go.
