Recording Issues with 360

Tuning in

Having problems with recordings on 360. Problems which we never had with TiVo or V6.

TBH, 360 is a step backwards.

Anyway, can somebody here help, because trying to get through to VM either by phone or webchat is impossible.

with 360, we have set various series links to record TV programs and can then blitz watch a whole series. We set recording time to run 5 mins after scheduled end time so that we don't miss anything. However when we come to watch the playback series, the recordings are always missing the last two or three minutes. Doesn't matter what channel it's on and there isn't any option to watch the end few minutes. When the program gets to about the last two minutes, we get the 'Delete or Keep' option box appearing and cannot get to watch the end of our program. We've tried changing the extended time to 10 mins but it doesn't make any difference.

Hi flatfoot471,

The 'Keep or Delete' can be turned off if you go to your saved recordings and select manage storage, put your pin number in and it's the first option you get.

Press Home > Recordings > Recorded > View All > Manage Storage > Enter your pin > Ask to delete after watching > Set to Off.

The 'Watch next episode' can't be turned off so you need to keep your remote handy to say 'No'. This works from the scheduled broadcast and running time of the episode and appears when it thinks the episode has finished or the credits are playing, if the episode has started a little later than it should then you get this message before the episode has finished. If you are recording a series and they are a few episodes one after the other, 5USA is a good example of this, then if the first one is affected then the following episodes are also affected.

There is a thread here about it.

Hi there '@flatfoot471 Thanks for reaching out to us on the Virgin Media forums.

Can I ask if you've tried the advice given by Roy on this thread?
Try it out and let us know how it goes and we can go on from there.

Kind regards,
Ilyas.
