Losing recordings and all future recordings more than once

Please help. I not only have the problems above but I often have problems with errors popping up to say it cannot show the channel (even when it’s bbc1) error CS002. This box never had a problem before upgrading to tv360. I can’t keep on with this service. When I tried ringing virgin and chose tv option they sent me a link that gave me a stranded 404 error message. Choosing the broadband option just got me to do a factory reset of the hub. I also have issues where it stops me accessing the apps but if I reboot tv360 then hub then tv360 it gets working again. The connect app says that I don’t have problems. Please help me quickly 😤😤

Hi @zonoco

There isn't a CS002 error.  Do you mean either CS1002 which is a network connection error, or CS2002 which is an issue showing a TV channel  which is sually cured by checking and tightening all cables and then unplugging the set top box for a minute?

It does though sound like a possible hard drive error. What happens if you pause a live TV program for a couple of minutes and then play it back?

Sorry, typo C2002. No problems with pausing and playing. Just having lots of unusual behaviour. Deleting recordings and all series recording settings regularly is a problem. Also very regularly signing me out of apps like iPlayer as though it’s the first time I have used the account on the tv. Just a nightmare of a service.

Hi zonoco,

If the 360 has deleted your recordings and planned recordings it's a sign that the box is faulty.

You can either call Virgin on 150 from a Virgin phone, mobile or landline, or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone to report a fault which I think you have tried unsuccessfully or wait here for one of the forum team to pick this up which might be 2 to 3 day's.

When phoning choose the option to report a fault, then ignore all the options offered and hopefully you should then be placed into a queue to speak to someone.

I am still waiting for someone to respond

This doesn’t work. After going to faults I don’t press any options and it says I haven’t chosen anything and restarts its announcement. After 3 times it cuts off the call

If selecting faults and being put into a queue doesn't work anymore then you will have to wait for one of the forum team to respond if you can't speak to anyone.

Hi zonoco,

Thanks for posting, and sorry to see you're having some issues with the box.

I can see from our side you've been able to call us, if you still need help with anything please let us know.
