Getting error CS2004 again on some channels. Sky sports main event, TNT sports 1, E4hd etc.

Getting error code CS2004 on some channels. Sky sports main event, tnt sports 1, e4hd, eurosport 1 etc. This was happening about 6 weeks ago but got resolved. Started happening again tonight. To say i'm unhappy is an understatment. Seriously considering going to a different provider.

Hi Gazz911,

You say it was resolved was this by an engineer visit or did the problem just go away. If it was by an engineer what did he do? If he checked and adjusted signal levels and the fault has now returned then you need to call Virgin to have the signal levels checked again to see if they have changed which would possibly indicate a problem with the external connection to your property. If the signal is OK then you might have a faulty box.

Welcome back to the community and thanks for taking the time to post.
I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your TV services at the moment, are you still experiencing the issues from Friday? If you're still having these issues.

Please can you check that the cabling connected to the Virgin Media socket on the wall is secure and finger tight, including any splitters, if you have them.
Also at the back of the Virgin TV box there may be a 6 inch long white connector cable, please ensure the cabling is secure here too and finger tight and that the connector cable is secure in the back of the Virgin TV box.
Also please check if the cabling is connected tightly on all other Virgin Media equipment in the property.
