I have previously had an install with a 360 (recording) and a mini in another room (no hard drive, but it could access the main box recordings). I also know about Stream (Flex) and it being standalone (not allowed at the same address as a 360 setup) until now.
I have been looking at a new package recently (Broadband and TV) and the system suggests that I will receive a 360 box and I have the option to add up to 5 extra Stream boxes (for Multi-room). I can't find anything about this online.
Has the Stream box now replaced the 360 mini, and if so, can the Stream boxes also access the recordings on the main 360?
Thank you for your help.

This is what is confusing with VM now running two Broadband delivery systems on different types of network.
If you are on the traditional cable network connected via coaxial cabling, you currently have a choice. You can opt to EITHER have a single non recording Flex/Stream box running from your Broadband OR a master V360 box & up to 2 mini boxes, all of which must be connected to the coaxial cabling. You cannot have both.
In the new Full Fibre XGS-PON delivery areas the only option is Flex/Stream, & you can have up to 6 of these boxes on the same account. This type of network does not support V360.
Flex/Stream is being used throughout the rest of Europe with cloud recording facilities, & this may be the way VM is going here in future with the traditional network being phased out.

Hi iecuk,
Thanks for your post and welcome back to our community.
We're sorry for any confusion caused by the different TV options available.
Stream/Flex is not available with other Virgin Media TV services.
If you already have a TV service with us, we can't offer stream.
If you have any further questions, please pop back to us and we'd be happy to help.
