360 Mini box splitter needed

360 mini box how to i connect the coaxial cable to the existing splitter when one goes to the Hub and the other to the main 360 set top box. The cable is already in place from a previous set up to the mini 360 box.

I can use the mini 360 box through ethernet and wiFi for the apps and recordings but not live TV needs that splitter as error code CS2004 comes up when trying to connect on to live tv sky etc.

No instructions on how to do this in the installing guides or the splitter in the box.

This is a new package i have signed up for the Volt Ultimate under the impression and told i could watch all services same as on the main 360 large set top box. May have been missold again.

The simple answer is that it is VMs job to install you a second outlet for the mini box, which should be part of your package change & not chargeable. Do not do any alterations to VMs wiring. Adding  another outlet will change the signal levels at your property, so anyone making alterations will need access to the street cabinet to make the necessary adjustments. VM also use specialised cabling. Using anything non-standard risks causing interference problems for you & possibly your neighbours.

I did explain to our Indian friends in CS all about the above posting and gave them the code CS2004 he checked the code and said there was a outrage in my area I said oh so why does my main 360STB still working and receiving all the channels he mumbled on about all will be working at 8.40pm i think he looked up code CS2400 so with out arguing I gave up and polity said thank you.

Now I would like just a contact number that will get me direct to VM Tech or engineer to book a new splitter to be fitted. I seem to go round in circles trying to find this apart from the 150 all the time number.

There is no contact number for tech or engineers, it's 150 or 0345 4541111. If such a number were available, much less published, I suspect it would be overrun quite quickly.

In your case, calling back and speaking to someone else - is the better solution.
