Fibre switchover

I was due to be switched over on 15th January, but nothing has happened. No communication from Virgin about  delays to rollout or new switchover date. Any information please?

Hello robtfulton.

Thanks for your first post and welcome to our community.

Sorry to hear your switch hasn't gone ahead

Can we ask if you are referring to the landline upgrade from the traditional socket to a fibre connection?

If so, then we have had to stop any upgrades going ahead. This was requested by the government across all telecom providers.

As soon as we get the go ahead to continue the upgrades, we will be back in communication with all our customers.

Sorry if you were not informed about this.

Yes that is correct. Last communication from Virgin Media was 16 November, quoting 15th January switchover.  Adapter alredy received.

Thanks for replying robtfulton.

Sorry again if you were not informed again.

We will make sure this gets fed back into the business.

On our wavelength

Received a txt November 9th that you would send an adaptor soon and it must be plugged into the hub on 11th January or my home phone service will stop working. No adaptor received, no update and home phone still working.

Hi freeair

All migrations are still on hold for now but rest assured we will not be disconnecting customer's current landline services. We will notify customers once we are able to resume migrations.
