When I try to sign into Sky Sports by selecting Virgin Media sign in option it comes up Unknown error

I am currently trying to watch Sky Sports Main Event and it takes me to Sky Sports  website. I select log in then select sign in with Virgin TV UK Virgin Media and then all that happens is it say An unknown error has occurred. 

So frustrating and seems to be no answer. 

Only had my Virgin account 24 hours and already had two issues. One being this the other the poor connection in the rooms and having to now wait for a pod. Plus even before set up nowhere did it say I needed a Virgin cable box to be able to set up so an engineer had to come out and fit it.

Are you seeing this error when trying to use multiple different devices?

What does the error state? Are you able to share a screenshot of this?

Can you confirm that you're using your MyVirginMedia sign in for the Sky Sports app?
