Sky Sports App

When I try to sign in to Sky Sports using my Virgin sign it, it shows the following message:

Sorry, something's gone wrong

As there may be a problem with your device's settings, we aren't able to let it sign in to My Virgin Media for security reasons Try signing in on another device.

Error Code: FSB50

My other Windows computer works with Sky Sports and I have never had problems before, so what is going on, it is irritating? Also, I am finding it difficult to locate the latest Sky Sports App for Windows, can someone post a link?

Many thanks

Hi NeilLondon99

Thanks for your post, sorry to hear you're having trouble signing into Sky Sports. This error is usually linked to the use of privacy tools on your device. Do you have CCleaner or KAMO installed at all? We'd recommend to try uninstalling this software and running Sky Sports again to see if that helps.

If the error is then still present, try clearing your cache and cookies on your browser. You might need to do this twice.

In regards to your second query, I'm afraid that I can't help with this. This might be something you'd need to contact Sky directly about.

Let us know if the above helps at all.

Beth

There isn't an actual Sky Sports app for windows, it uses a different download called Sky Sports Player which is initially installed when you use your browser to go to the Sky Sports web site,

Go to skysports.com and click on Login, then click on the Virgin TV UK icon.

Sign in using your My Virgin Media account details and then select a channel, and then a program.

If you haven't already got it installed then download the Sky Sports Player as prompted.

Your show will start playing and your device will register itself automatically.

(The links to download the Sky Sports Player for a Mac and windows devices can be found on the following page)

https://www.skysports.com/videoplayer/instructions

Although that page says it's version  6.0.0 when it downloads it's actually product version 6.0.1.0
