Virgin Stream would increase bill from £35 to £65

I had been looking at Virgin Stream, and requested a call back a few times from virgin. The calls never came so contacted them on WhatsApp - the website appears to show you can just add Stream to your account, pay set up fee and then add what you want. However, turns out if I was to add stream to my account they would have to renew my contract they would remove any current discounts, and can’t give any new discounts , so getting the stream box would mean my bill would go from £35 to £65 just for internet and that’s before I have even added any subscriptions onto the stream box! Anyone else had same issue? It seems almost impossibly to get a stream box, I’ve gone with sky stream in the end as they have offered a really good deal when I called.

Stream Add Packs Screen still showing Get 10% Credit back on every subscription you add.

Which has always been credited to my Essential Entertainment pack

Packs can be added/removed every 30 days.

I think TNT Sport what was BT Sports may bill unto 3 myths in advance as they sometimes offer their own Discount similar to VM'S 10% back Credits.

I don't use any other packs, though Costs/Credits are viewed whilst selecting each pack-before confirming if req.

I think Internet still has its own Term e.g. my recent M125 is 2 yrs Internet contract.

Stream tv is 30 days rolling contract- which I find great should my circumstances change.

Ordered one yesterday. The lady initially said i would have to pay an extra fiver a month. I queried this, she went away and said it's free but she'd wipe the set up fee and i'd pay £15 for delivery. So half what i should be paying. Absolutely no change to contract or loss of any discounts

Hi, grino.
Thanks for taking the time to join our help forums and make a post for the first time, glad to have you on board with us. 🙂

We're sorry to hear this confusion with regards to getting Stream TV from us and the changes this would cause to your package and price.
We do not support package changes over this forum however we'd love to see how to best advise on what we know relative to your questions and concerns.

If you've been on a Volt deal or similar were we offered big discounts for signing up, those will expire when your contract with us ends - we would have confirmed what the price for the services would be after your contract expiry date (as seen on your contract email copy or online) so based on that we'd offer a new 18 month deal quote where we add Stream on as well.

We're also sorry to see you didn't choose Stream TV at the end due to this, however we hope you enjoy your services.
Best regards,

Adri
