Subscribed to Sky Sports but channels greyed out

I was previously subscribed to Sky Sports. I cancelled last month when the fee was increased at the end of my deal. Last Sunday I subscribed again and successfully watched 2 football matches on the TV. Then on Tuesday I noticed the channels were greyed out and the Subscription on the TV was now pending rather than ticked. The next day it became ticked but the channels still greyed out. The message support using bots is useless. I reluctantly phoned and got nowhere. Someone will apparently contact in 5 days. No use if I want to watch Sport now! I suspect I won't even get a call. I tried today to remove the subscription and then re-add on the TV. Doesn't work either. I'm now at the stage I want to just cancel and use NowTV. After all it's cheaper. I guess I'll then have to navigate the bots, premium phone line wait forever at my cost and go through more hell... Has anyone experienced similar and if so did you manage to get it resolved?

Hi Thompwa 

If you have a VM landline then it's a free call by dialling 150.

You can also dial  0345 454 1111 which is a free call included in most call plans, as it's the same as dialling an 01,02,or 03 number, however on some calls plans you need to redial after 1 hour to keep it as a free call.

You can also contact VM via WhatsApp on 0780 3089 684

Anybody resolved a similar issue? If so, how and how long did it take?

We're sorry to hear that the channels haven't been added yet. This is something we can certainly check for you but in order to do that I will need to confirm some information with you to pass security. 

I have sent you a direct message to allow us to do this with you in a private space. If you are using a PC/Laptop then you can just click on the little ✉ at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox. If you are on a mobile/tablet device then instead click on the little circle icon in the top right then select 'Messages'. 😊

Hi Kath, it took a week for sky sports to be resolved. I now have the same issue with TNT sports. I signed up today hoping to watch the europa league football. However the subscription is stuck at "adding" on the TV screen. Please can you help resolve. It should be activated straight away. I now have the same issue as sky sports.

Please can this be resolved ASAP as I'd like to watch the football tonight!
