Stream Multiroom

I have XGS based Virgin Media broadband so unable to purchase TV360 which has mutliroom. 

Is it possible to get an extra Stream box or at least make this feature possible for XGS based customers who have no alternative for multiscreen options. I'm aware that TV Go app exists, but would like to use my TV rather than an iPad.

It seems Sky can offer multiscreen with similar technology with Sky stream. Is there a reasoning behind VM's one stream box per account limitation?

Sky is not a cable TV operator, so is not bound by the same rules VM has to operate under. The “one box per customer” issue is likely an interim measure while VM transitions it’s status away from it’s cable franchise obligations.

My belief is that VM will offer a recordable IPTV box in 2024 for those on XGS-PON but it will be severely lacking compared with the 360.
