Virgin Stream turns my Sony 55A80J tv off!

Hi,

I'm having the same issue with my Sony Bravia (KD-49X8005C). It was fine on Sky but since I switched to the Virgin streaming box I've had intermittent issues with the TV. Usually the screen switches to the TV's home page every 2-3 minutes and then switches back, sometimes it goes black for 2-3 minutes and then returns to TV (but sound is unaffected) and then the TV just turns itself off and restarts.

Virgin Media has a sister company in Holland called Ziggo. It also offers the Stream box but calls it the Next Mini (and Ziggo allows customers to have more than one but that's another thread for now).

Its users are also reporting this problem on a regular basis and the solution seems to be a replacement box.
