Hi all. We're new to Virgin TV Stream after being with Sky for 25+ years. We've sent five or six live cycling events from Eurosport on to My Watchlist.
When we try to watch them we get a reply on the top right of the screen saying "This title isn't currently available for play-out. It's been like this for over a week. I've queried it on live chat but nobody seems to have a clue.
I feel like I have been mis-sold the TV package as it's not "exactly like sky TV but you send to my watchlist rather than recording". Neither the sales guy nor the installer mentioned this would be an issue.
Any ideas?

Are you in one of Virgin’s traditional cable areas, or on the new NexFibre XGS-PON network?
The way to tell is to look at the back of your hub. If you have fibre going in via a green connector below the power cable, you are XGS-PON network. These networks do not carry traditional Cable TV services as they rely on older broadcast type technology, hence the recording boxes that work on those networks cannot be supported. You will have Virgin Stream, which only carries live TV & relies on catch-up & On Demand services for already broadcast content.
