Hi so plugged in the stream box 1st time today and nothing seems like it is stuck in standby mode for a brief second comes up on screen with a image of power plug and then nothing tried everything and will not come out of standby

There have been a number of Stream boxes sent out with faulty power leads.
Do you have a spare usb power lead you can try?
Some people have also found that by holding the power button whilst connecting the power usb that a menu appeared that allowed them to do a software update and then connect

So for a brief 2nd a option for language options came up then nothing I will try a new cable thank you for your advice.

Hi this cable was quite cheap on Amazon and does the trick no issues since

Needs a USB-A to Micro Mine has arrived with a faulty cable. Virgin cannot seem to find a way to send a new one out. Their solution for me after over an hour on the phone me was to book an engineer in 3 weeks time!
