Cannot report an email I received to Virgin because it 'is virus'?
This is quite ridiculous, three emails reached me just fine, through the Virgin servers, all are obviously scams so I go to report it to phishing @ virginmedia.com - and it cannot be sent, because it 'is a virus'.... If you can detect it, why did you even let it come to me and how can you ever hope to be alerted to these, as you ask us to do, if you block reporting them to them you? Radical idea, but if you are sure it is a virus, don't send it on to your customers.Latest Phishing News 29/01/2025

I’m having a frustrating issue with my Virgin Media broadband, and I’m hoping someone here can help or offer advice. Virgin Media has assigned me a secondhand IP address that is flagged as a spam IP on the following blacklists: RATS NoPtr Spamhaus ZEN This is causing me a ton of problems. Many websites and online resources I rely on are blocking access, and it’s seriously affecting both my personal and professional activities. I urgently need one of the following: A new IP address or a replacement hub or a significant discount on my contract, as I’m paying for a service that’s being severely disrupted by a secondhand IP address with these issues. What I’ve Tried: Restarting my router to try to get a new IP which didn’t work Contacting Virgin Media support, but so far, I haven’t received any meaningful help. If anyone has dealt with a similar problem or has advice on how to escalate this with Virgin Media, I’d really appreciate your input. Thanks in advance! Mikhail
