Telewest socket

Hey all,

I've moving into a new place next weekend, and was told there was virgin media here previously. I'm getting my self install kit, but not sure where to plug it in? There's an old telewest socket (pictured) but something is already plugged into it? Should I just take that out and plug my router in there? Thanks!

You have two options. You can remove the cable and connect the Quickstart cable to the Telewest socket (it's a push fit) or follow the existing cable to its end and connect your splitter or hub to it.

Sorry about the delayed response!

Thanks for this, I will try one of these on Saturday 😊
