I cancelled Virgin Media about 9 years ago when living at my parents house. I have been trying to get Virgin to remove their cabling at my parents' property. The cable protrudes above the soil in their front garden and is a trip hazard - my parents are elderly. I have tried everything to get Virgin to remove it. I have lost count of the number of phone calls I have made, all of which have been hugely frustrating experiences. The best response I get is that Virgin will send an engineer out within 48 hours, but they never do. Can anyone help? Please.

VM generally won't remove cabling unless it is a H&S problem. Even then much seems to depend on the decisions of VM people local to the customer as to whether anything is done about it.
If you post up some pic's of the issue on here, the VM forum team may refer those on for you.
If there is still no response after that, VM has stated numerous times on here that it becomes a DIY task for you and a pair of wire cutters.

Hi. I have tried for several years now to get Virgin to remove their cabling at my parent's house, after I cancelled Virgin Media. My parents are elderly and the cable runs across their front garden, above the soil. It is a trip hazard. I have phoned Virgin numerous times to ask them to remove it. These calls are futile and frustrating in the extreme. They say they will send an engineer out within 48 hours to the property but they never do. Can anyone help?
