Moving a TV wall socket

We’d like to move our Virgin wall socket so that we can move our TV and router to another part of the lounge (in the long run, using a long cable will be an eyesore). How do we go about this? Have tried to ask via chat a couple of times but the wait times have always gone past the working hours of the customer support team so no joy there.

Hi CaptainNeil

There would be a £25 non fault call out charge (it used to be £99) to do the work you require.

You should call  150 from a Virgin landline, or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone, option 2 (Faults

When calling Faults ignore all the options and don't press any buttons then you should be placed into a queue and an agent should pick up the phone and book the tech for you.

Or wait a day or two and a member of the Forum Team should pick this up for you and arrange a tech visit.

I would like to help you make this arrangement.  So that I can take some details, I am going to send you a private message. Please keep an eye on your inbox in the top right of your screen.
