Virgin have repeatedly lied to me during the time I have been waiting for them to install the internet at my property. I am told the issue with the external line is fixed, but when people attend my property to do the internal installation I am told nothing has been done since 2 July. Someone told me I would be sent a dongle in 2/3 working days to provide us with internet until they could fix the issue with the installation. I was told this would connect to up to 5 devices. The detail given in this lie is astounding.
I am pregnant. I mostly work from home as travelling into London is hard work. I am using all my mobile phone data to hotspot my work laptop so I am able to do this. I have told Virgin this, and that we have no access to TV without the internet in our house. We had to ask to go to people's houses for the Euros and Wimbledon. We are now missing the Olympics.
The stress of multiple calls to operators at Virgin who are telling lies if significantly affecting my mental health at a time when I am full of hormones. Virgin has a duty of care to its customers. When is someone going to stop lying to us and install the internet at our property? I have submitted two complaints, but nothing works.

Hi bry_don
Welcome to the Community Forums, thank you for your post.
I am very sorry to hear about the experience you've had with your installation, we can appreciate that this must be the last thing you need right now.
I can certainly take a look into this for you and see what's happened so far. I've sent over a private message so I can take your details.
Thank you

it took me about 5 months to get mine installed. sometimes there are problems to get the works done but they did a smashing job in the end. I just purchased a 5G router from three and plugged an aerial into my television and sat it out. no need to miss anything. bit of patience will help.

Start keeping detailed records, along with accompanying evidence in the formal of screenshots, text messages, emails etc., and do this in a timeline format. You will be eligible for compensation for the delay.

We have seen untruthful and inaccurate information provide by VM reported on here as a matter of routine in past topics. You will get no accurate information from VM that you can genuinely rely upon.
In the meantime, do as has already been suggested and put in place your own backup measures while you wait for VM (such as a mobile hotspot with an unlimited data SIM on a rolling monthly contract) until VM completes your installation.
Your installation may happen soon or may yet be months away but you have no way of finding out from VM from sources that are reliable and trustworthy in so far as they can be counted on to deliver as promised.
