I’ve been having issues with my broadband connection for over a year now, and wondered if anyone could offer any advice. I’ve had the hub 3 for a number of years now, and for most of that time I had no problems, but over the last year or so, I constantly have to switch off Wi-Fi and use data on devices, even in the same room as the router, and the range seems to be an issue when it never was before. Eg, getting devices to connect upstairs. Never used to have an issue, but now kids devices upstairs just sometimes won’t connect. I’ve contacted the call centre to ask for a new router, and they followed their script, had me running about testing stuff and told me everything was fine. They eventually agreed to send an engineer out, and refused to send a new hub. Can anyone on here offer any advice? Do these routers performance degrade over time? I wouldn’t have though it would have been much of an issue for them to just send me a new one but they aren’t having it.

Hey garry2910,
Welcome to the community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your router and connection at the moment. Is it just WiFi connections that you're having issues with or are you experiencing issues with devices connected via ethernet cable? We do have some hints and tips for a better WiFi connection and they can be found here. What did the engineer advise, when they visited about the issues?
Kind Regards,
