I have tested my connections on the Connect app and the results indicate I need a Wi-Fi booster. However when I follow the links to change my package , the webpage shows that Wi-Fi boosters are in my package but I have never ordered one. So, how do I order one when no changes can be made to satisfy the demands of the webpage? In addition, if I make this" change", will my contract change? There is a long history of changes being detrimental to the user within this forum.

What package are you on ?
Pods are only free to customers on the 1GB, any Volt package (or old Ultimate Oomph) - is that you?
If not - dont bother as you will be charged £8/month for up to 3 pods. However, you would soon pay off that cost by buying your own wireless solution that will be yours to own and use forever.
If you do want to invest in better equipment, you would need to get either a… (1) Mesh System, (2) Wireless router, (3) Wireless access point(s), (4) a pair of good quality Wifi Powerline Adaptors, or a combination of (2&3).
If so they are worth trying - they should work for you. VM Wifi is now “guaranteed” to 30 Mbps/room it’s now called… Wifi Max
See if anything in here helps….

You call 0800 064 3850 to order the first one after scanning for blackspots using the connect App.- or just wait here for a VM person to respond in a day or two and they will sort the first one for you. If you do call dont get fobbed off by the offshore CS agents' saying you aren’t eligible - if you are - it is clearly stated on the webpage.

Thank-you, for the information.
Yes, I am on this package and the scan indicated my kitchen area is poor, hence the need for the pods. I have invested in a Wi-Fi repeater which should arrive tomorrow. If this resolved the signal strength I will report back.

I have installed a Wi-Fi extender and the speed in the Kitchen is better at 8Mbps and the Living Room 15Mbps but still below the advertised 30Mbps. I should be able to order a Wi-Fi pod on my package for free but the website keeps asking me to change my package rather than just letting me ticking a box for one to be sent. The website says to contact customer services and we all know what happens there.

Hi Gavlar6,
Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums. ⭐
We're sorry to hear you're having an issue with your WiFi connection. The WiFi speed guarantee is not applicable when using a third party booster I'm afraid. This would need to be removed from the equation.
In terms of getting a WiFi pod ordered, this is something we can help with. We'll just need to confirm some information with you to pass security. I have sent you a direct message to allow us to do this with you in a private space. If you are using a PC/Laptop then you can just click on the little ✉ at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox. If you are on a mobile/tablet device then instead click on the little circle icon in the top right then select 'Messages'. 😊
Thanks,
