My Ring doorbell stopped working yesterday. As it only works on 2.4GHz, I checked my router and the band was disabled. I followed guidance from here but it keeps reverting to disabled. I have rebooted and reset the router, but no joy.
Any other suggestions?

Well, it seemed there were a few Virgin issues in the area at the time of my own issue. As soon as they were resolves, my Hub 4 resolved itself, too. Everything is all good again 🤷♂️

Hub 4 or Router ... two words with different meanings.
If the VM Hub 4 has lost its 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band call VM and request a replacement Hub.
If your 3rd party Router has failed ... buy replacement.

Hello pauldsharpe
Sorry to hear of the broadband connection issues experienced with your wireless network.
It's been a few days since your post, are you still experiencing issues with the 2.4Ghz frequency or has this been resolved now?

Hi @Bri5 👋.
Thanks for reaching out to us, sorry of the issues that you are facing with your Hub, as the network works under a unified name, you will not see a separate network name for the 2.4Ghz, if you are using any form of booster to spread the signal further you will not be able to split the network. May we ask the issues that you are facing with your internet so that we can assist you more directly.
