Where and how do I log into my new o2 sim plan?

Hi

I have a broadband/phone/tv package along with a separate virgin mobile plan.

I just changed my package and got a o2 sim plan instead, Virgin will send a new o2 SIM card in post and when I insert it I gather my number will then be ported on the day.

But my question is how and where do I log into my new mobile account, can I use my existing password credentials or do I get a new account entirely with the o2 plan?

Also I got a PAC code, do I need to phone o2 to keep number, I thought all this stuff would be done automatically seen as they are working together now.
