Wrong email

Hi, I signed up for the M500 student broadband on 27/08 and set the delivery date to 11/09. However I accidentally put the wrong email in when signing up so I don't have access to any of the follow up email I am supposed to get. All the information in making a virgin media account is meant to be in those emails so I can't even make an account and changge the email.

Hi Mickey2 

You could try calling the pre-installs team on 0800 052 1734 and tell them what's happened and ask them to amend the email address and provide an order update..

They are open  8:00am to 9:00pm  Monday to Friday, and 8:00am to 6:00pm Saturday and Sunday

(It can take a couple of days for a member of the forum team to pick up your post)

Sorry to hear these concerns about your sign-up and using the incorrect email. 

We can take a look and hopefully help get this updated for you. It's worth mentioning that your services do need to be active for My VM registration to work successfully. We also can't give out your account number for security reasons, but we can confirm the site ID if needed. You will receive both of these bits of information directly when you are sent your initial bill. 

I will send you a PM to confirm a few details and offer support with the email issue. - you can find the PM in the top right corner of the page in your Inbox. 📩 We can then return to this public thread with another update when possible. Thank you for your patience in the meantime!

We're sorry to hear your email address has been entered incorrectly. This is something we can certainly check for you but in order to do that I will need to confirm some information with you to pass security. 

I have sent you a direct message to allow us to do this with you in a private space. If you are using a PC/Laptop then you can just click on the little ✉ at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox. If you are on a mobile/tablet device then instead click on the little circle icon in the top right then select 'Messages'. 😊
