Hi has anyone experienced any issues. I gave my 30 days notice on Monday as they were quoting me ridiculous prices. I then have been waiting and waiting to chat online and keep getting cut off. Usually they call me after notice but no call has come. Really disappointed with service as ive been with virgin along time.

There is no guarantee that VM will call you back and make an offer for you to stay. It may be beneficial to contact them by phone or whatsapp and see if they have any further offers. Unfortunately the forum team don't deal with cancellations or regrades etc.
It' might be a good idea to check your marketing preferences too in case it's been set to deny contact from VM. Sign into My Virgin Media then Account Settings > Marketing preferences, yensure that the tick check box next to "Sounds good! Keep me up to date" is set other it stops VM contacting you via phone, text message, post and email. Be sure to scroll down and click on Save Changes. It can take up to 28 days for any changes to take effect.

To add, by giving your cancellation notice you need to be comfortable with having already chosen a new provider and have an install date already in-progress. As mentioned - outbound retentions may call with offers but it's not a certainty and you need to be prepared to carry through with your notice.
