A 14 day cooling off period applies in certain circumstances.

You have 14 days cooling off if you are a new customer joining VM. You have 14 days to use the service to begin with during which you can leave without penalty.

See section M in the T&Cs

https://prod.ctassets.virginmedia.com/uploads/Terms_and_Conditions_TV_Fibre_Phone_from_4_February_20...

If you are an existing customer, and you make a change to your package, you have a 14 day period in which you should be able to go back to your original package without penalty. If you then wish to leave you have to give 30 days notice.

If you are already an existing customer and you want to leave VM, you have to give 30 days notice. If you leave VM during your minimum term period VM may charge you early disconnection fees.

Hello nowkillkennys.

Thanks for your first post and welcome to our community.

Sorry to hear you are looking to leave under our 14 day cooling off period.

From here we are unable to requests disconnections, would it okay to ask the reason why and we can point you in the right direction?
