I'm on essential broadband plus, I pay £20 per month, £28 minus £8 credit for UC.
I've just received my latest bill and the credit has been reduced to £3.20 making the bill £24.80 and not £20.
I was told there would be no price increases to essential broadband as it is the social tariff for low income families.
What has happened?

I’m not sure of the processes but I believe that you have to re-validate annually that you are still validly claiming the required benefits.
Perhaps this is why your discount has reduced this month. Is it a year since you changed to the social tariff?
