Crackling phone line

Our Landline is very crackly which makes it very difficult to understand the other person on the call. This started about a month ago and has been getting progressively worse. I have done a search for problems in the area and there are none. Also tried other remedies including trying different handsets. Anyone able to help resolve.

Welcome to the community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your landline at the moment. 

Have you tried to reboot your hub since the issues started? Does this happen on all calls made and received?

Hello, thanks for your reply. My landline is not connected to the hub. It happens on call made and received. I have tried rebooting the hub but the line is not connected to the hub anyway. Is there anything else i can try?
