Experiencing connection issues with Eve Online.

Maybe someone from VM can offer up some advice?

Hi Cade and everyone affected,

We've been monitoring the ticket internally from here and speaking to our Support Teams and to clarify, there was a prefix limit breach in sessions between ourselves and Cloudflare which has been increased and resolved. 

Thanks everyone for providing the information required so all parties could work together to get it resolved. Our Support Team are still monitoring the issue to make sure everything is right before closing the ticket and thank you for the patience you've given us.

I am in Leeds.
Router in Modem only mode.
Asus RT-AX-88U router doing the hard work.
Fully Cat 6 wired in the house.
Mumble / Teamspeak / Discord / Slack etc all stay connected fine, but EvE suffers packet loss and disconnects from the client as it is less forgiving than most other apps.

Here is current BQM

 - Red line is where I tried full power down (Modem / Router / PC) to check it wasn't my end.

And whilst editing this message, all clients disconnected again.
Can we please get a VM response? 🙂

I seem to be having same problem with Virgin and EvE Online which started yesterday.

The only way i do not get disconnected from the game is when i use a VPN.

Hope someone can look into this and let us know what's happening

Exactly the same problem here. I have been getting disconnected from the Eve Online client over and over again since yesterday. Also in Leeds like a previous poster but that may just be coincidence. This has happened maybe 10+ times today, and probably 20-30 times yesterday.

I would appreciate it if VM could look into this and let us know.

I can also add my name to the list of those having disconnects while playing Eve Online from a VirginMedia connection.

For me it started today and I have seen four disconnects so far today, I last played two days ago when things were perfectly stable.

All other network connections are fine - I am usually streaming someone else playing Eve when I see disconnects and the stream carries on without interruption.

Hoping VM can look into this relatively recent instability.

I've just found this new thread from google.

 

I've been having the same issue recently. I thought it was the work connection at first but it's happening at home too now. Both connections are Virgin Media

Many people are having this issue, it is making the game relatively unplayable.

The developer updated their thread:

We are seeing these disconnect issues, starting at 22 o’clock on 23 February; the disconnects are synced indicating some sort of a network issue or fault. But these synched disconnects are only from Virgin Media customers in the UK as far as we can tell; other countries or ISPs do not appear to be affected.

Connection to EVE Online via VPN has been stable for several hours. As soon as the VPN is disabled I start to get disconnections again.
