Locked out of VM emails AGAIN!

For the second tine in a week I have been locked out of VM emails using my blueyonder account.  The first time it happened I tried to sign in but got the message “Your Virgin Media Mail account is currently unavailable.  This is because your Virgin Media Account is locked, or because you don’t have an account with us anymore.  Follow these steps etc   . …………….”

I followed various sets of instructions found on the forum but they didn’t work.  Through trial and error I somehow managed to regain access.

Now just a week later I cannot access email again.  Monday pm.  Just a blank page saying FORBIDDEN across the top.  Any help would be appreciated.

I should add that in resolving the problem last week I used a third party email address and new password to access my account.  Now I can't get to a login page.    I've tried following the original instructions above to see it that would work.  Got to "Virgin Media Mail Settings" clicked that then got this message......

I am currently experiencing all the issues described.  I cannot get anything working.  I had to change my email address in the MyVirginMedia too and now I cannot change it back to my normail virgin blueyonder username/email.

I'm in the same boat of no access to my email via the web. I didn't try and change my email address to access my email is I reckon it would just makes things worse.

Hi, I have had a email for many years and I usually leave it open on my laptop, using it just this morning to send an email to work.  When I came to check later for their reply it told me my account was "unavailable".  From the generic message it would appear that accounts are now defunct, so I followed the instructions and added a account and a new password and I still can't access my emails.  From other messages I can see that if you don't use broadband then your account will be closed.  We do have broadband still and I have just spent close to an hour faffing around trying to sort it out, to no avail.  I have given up for now as I am about to tear my hair out.  Also, why is there never a phone number to call these days!!!

I tried to login to my email earlier only to be met with this message suggesting that my account is locked.

I attempted to follow the steps to unlock it myself, and have changed the password several times.

I have also added a recovery email to my account to try and assist with the recovery. But I still get the same message when trying to login to view my emails.

Any help would be much appreciated

Wife's email account is linked to my VM account. Unable to access her emails. Gets message "Your Virgin Media mail account is unavailable due to being locked or no active account". 3 step solution offered which doesn't work, can't even get to change password. Tried calling VM but can't get through to talk to anyone. Any idea's how to resolve please?

I have had an account for many years.Tried to access my emails today and found them blocked. Changed my log in details to my gmail account and new password as requested but still get the same problem. When I log in I don't need a password but it welcomes me back.

I've also changed my phone but the account settings won't accept the new number. Why can't I speak direct to someone as before ?

@Akela Virgin Media are currently investigating what the issue might be.

I suggest you hold fire for a few hours to see if it resolves.

I have been trying to access my Virgin media email but it keeps saying the account it currently unavailable and giving me instructions to change the password etc.

I keep getting sent in a loop, and don't even get the option for forgotten or reset password so, I can't even attempt to change the password.

I get very important emails to the virgin email account so I really need this sorting ASAP please

I have exactly the same problem, have had for over a week now. Just keep plugging is all I can say. Got told today that should have emails back by Fri/Sat. Not good enough in todays competitive IT world .good luck!
