Help closing old NTLworld email

Hi,

I closed my Virgin Media account end of 2022 and assumed my old NTLworld email address would be closed shortly after. However it is still active and has recently been hacked. As I no longer have a Virgin Media account does anyone know how to access this ld email and shut it down?
