Virgin/o2 volt upgrade - eSIM

Hi there.

i want to upgrade my broadband package with an o2 sim only and benefit from the volt upgrade to my broadband speed. Having gone through the order, it wants to send me a physical sim within 7 days from o2 and I can’t specify anything other than my home address. I am currently away for over a week (still in the UK), once this package is purchases, will I be able to obtain an eSIM for instant use?

We're sorry to hear you've been having some issues with ordering an eSIM. 

We don't deal with any sort of Sales here via the Community so we wouldn't be able to answer this 100% for you however it is my understanding that a physical SIM would be sent too incase you don't have a compatible device. You can reach out to O2 directly to confirm things though by using their contact details here.
