Virgin Hub 5 & 1 Gig upgrade

After re-contracting from ultimate oomph (650mpbs) to Ultimate Volt this year, i am still on 650mpbs with the hub 3 which is fine, but volt benefits state i can upgrade to the fastest which is 1Gig, I would also then need the hub 5, Do I wait until I get emailed about an potential upgrade or should I contact virgin myself?

Many have left the serene world of the Hub 3 only to enter a nightmare with the WiFi / DHCP / VOIP / Reliability defects of the Hub 5

Use this forum to fully understand the depth of issues with the Hub 5 in Router mode before discarding a system that works well.

You may or may not get the Hub 5, depending on supply.  Many 1Gig users are on Hub 4.
