New VM and O2 contract

Did the usual threatening to leave due to impending price rise, and was offered a new contract at a significant saving, which I've obviously taken up.

Part of the deal was I had to sign up to an O2 contract at the same time, the cheapest on offer was £5 a month so that's what I did (I don't want a new contract on my phone- I only switched to Virgin mobile 6 weeks ago) and it's still way cheaper than if I hadn't changed.

My question is- the O2 sim and paperwork has arrived, where it is saying I have 14 days to opt out. If I opt out, and save myself the fiver a month, will it affect the VM contract (there's no mention of O2 in any of the VM documents)

cheers

If you opt out it will effect your broadband package as the deal is dependant of you having an O2 SIM
