Additional charges for "free" Volt benefits

TMinfidel
Tuning in

Hi,

I recently saw the advertisment about activating "free" Volt benefits. As I'm a Virgin Media and O2 monthly payment customer, I activated the offer, and today received an email saying a new hub would be sent out to me, followed by another email about the change to my package. The confusion is that I thought these benefits were free, and yet the pdf receipt appears to show that my bill is going up by £10.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello @TMinfidel,

Welcome, thanks for posting.

I am sorry for any confusion caused with this.

Is the extra £10 with us or with your O2 account?

Many thanks,

Hayley

Hi Hayley,

The additional £10 per month appears to be in my Virgin bill, as it is within the receipt for the broadband speed boost.

I will send you a private message so I can investigate this further.

Please look out for a purple envelope.
