updating your digital tv service?

I currently have a message on my TV.

Important. Please so not switch off your set top box. We're updating your digital TV service, which will take a few minutes. Your vox will restart automatically when this is complete. Updating stage 1 of 3.

Been like this for 2 days now...

Any idea of how to rectify this?

It sounds like you have one of the legacy V+ or VHD boxes as the TiVO firmware does not use this message anymore.

These boxes are in the process of being phased out, so I should give faults a ring & see what they suggest.

Yes it’s a VboxHD.

we have TiVo in the main rooms this is just in my sons bedroom so I will contact virgin and see what they suggest.
