Any news if sky sports HD, as standard, will be  implemented on VM soon?

nope but it's worth the extra £7 a month because I can't stand watching them on SD.

Then again, i did get a discount so £22 (£29 with HD) for sky sports.  

Ask again at new year and we'll see if 2019 is the year for sexy HD 🙂

Nope.   I find that I pay the extra £7 for it cause I need it in HD.

I am getting a discount on it though.   (£22-SD or £29-HD because I accepted the offer i got in August.       Full price of £31.50-SD  and £38.50-HD i think is too steep)

Until Sky decide to stop lining their pockets with our money we will have to continue paying it. Its part of the premium channel agreement.

Hi kreid4,

I'm afraid there's nothing new for now. The agreement made back in May 2014 was for "five years plus" so you may find it's a while yet before any new deal is made.

Unfortunately, it's very rare that we have any details prior to public announcements to avoid anything being leaked in advance. You can keep an eye on our site for any press releases related to this, as well as many other areas of the business. I'm sure we'll be shouting about any updates as soon as we have information to give 🙂
