V Box HD

Hi 

My V Box hd seems to stop working every now and then.

When i turn it off at night and then turn it on the next day, i can not access the home menu, TV Guide or my favourite channels. Even pressing the power button till it says "STOP" doesn't work. I have to keep un plugging it from the mains, leave it for a couple of minutes and plug it back in. 

It does feel very warm before i unplug it, but it is well ventilated

please help

Strictly speaking, the V box HD is now approaching the obsolete state. All new contracts require them to be replaced & a staged withdrawal is ongoing on existing contracts.

Many of these boxes are also becoming life expired, not to mention that catch-up services on some channels no longer operate via these boxes as they do not have the capability to use apps or access internet content.

I would be phoning Retentions and seeing if there was a good deal to replace it.
