Problem with no channels

I had one  new box in one of the bedrooms no problem setting that up but now only have basic channels in the other bedroom why has this happened

Is the second box connected to the Cable Network and has it been activated.

If the answer is yes to both then you will have to.phone in and go down the fsults route.

If you are paying for just one box then the old box has become deactivated and no longer work, although it will still give you a few free to air channels which must be broadcast unencrypted and are therefore viewable.

If the new box replaced an box which was taken away, or if the new box is in addition to the old [basic channels only] box and you're paying for both, then it could be a config error with your account.

If, however, the new box was intended to replace the box which you is now only receiving basic channels, then it will have been deactivated as you're only paying for a single active box on your account.
