I went to watch 2 things I had recorded last night and both movies had 2 recordings. One film had one half of the film, then the other had the second half of the film, with a gap in between, why is that!?
Another recording has 5 minutes of viewing only, and another had the first half hour missing, so useless to watch.
I received the new upgraded tivo box a few months back and this is the first time I have had big problems with recording. There is nothing in the hiccups section to say why this is happening.
Split recordings, such as this, are almost certainly caused by your V6 having restarted during the timeframe of the recordings. This can be caused by short power outages but, if it recurs frequently, you should report it to Virgin Media for investigation.
