Multiroom-no signal

 I received a mufti room set top box ..It is set up correctly to a Hitachi Smart TV but there is a constant "no signal" message on the tv.All the coax and HDMI cables are inserted correctly and the Virgin point is active. Any ideas?

Can you expand a bit on this point? Virgin don't allow self-install for new multi-room additions, an engineer has to come out to install it even if the cables are in situ to make sure power levels are in spec. What box is it and where did you get it from?
