Hi, we all are deaf in this family of six, we have just joined Virgin media and realised that for the movie demand, there are no subtitles?! In our previous provider Sky, they do subtitles for the movie demands, so you cannot really say it is out of your hand really. So can I ask why no subtitles for movie demands?

You've been looking into this for at least seven years with no results. The post you refer to begs forgiveness for technical incompetence. It's disingenuous to claim you are taking this seriously when the evidence overwhelmingly indicates otherwise.
