Modem mode and Virgin TV

Hi,

If I set my Virgin HUB 3 in modem mode, will my virgin TV box be affected by it?

Thanks a lot

Re: Modem mode and Virgin TV

Only that you'll need to connect your V6 box to the router that you've connected to the hub (via ethernet or via), rather than to the hub, but other than that it should work fine.

Re: Modem mode and Virgin TV

The doubt I was about the coax cable (linking the HUB3 and the TV box) whether id would be kept working.

Thanks a lot

Re: Modem mode and Virgin TV

When you put your hub in modem mode you need to connect a router to it to get shared broadband and WiFi. You will therefore need to disconnect the TV box's Ethernet cable from the hub and reconnect it to the router.

Re: Modem mode and Virgin TV

As I said my only doubt was whether the coax cable (going from the hub to the TV Box) still worked. All the rest is pretty basic networking....

Thanks anyway
