Green TiVo screen

Morning all-  I have a green screen coming up on my TiVo box, saying that it has detected a serious problem and that I need to wait 3 hours. I’ve waited a couple of days, but still no change. 

Any thoughts on where to go with this next / anything I can try - having read up on this, it would appear that the hard drive is gone, and I’ll need a new box.

Hey Collette, thanks for you message back on my post. 

I had an engineer come out and replaced my second box (the one that showed the green screen). However, when he left and I got home, the new box wasn’t working (light comes on but no picture on the tv). Also somehow, the second box has stopped working too! 

It wouldbe great if you could run any tests and/or send an engineer around please.

Have you checked that all the cables are secure at the back of the box?

Hi Shamilganatra,

Thanks for the update and I'm sorry to hear that you're still having problems with the TV service.  I have taken a look and I can see that there are some signal problems that need sorting out so I will arrange for an engineer appointment via private message.  Look for the purple envelope icon above.
