JatBains

When i first had the virgin v6 box installed , the engineer said that I don't need a tv licence as the virgin service is not using a satellite or dish. To clarify, do i need to pay for tv licence or not?

Yes, you need a TV Licence. No idea why the engineer said that as it's not correct.

If you press the Home button on the V6 remote control, select Help&Settings and then Help you will find everything the box and the remote can do

On the Share Live Graph page there six links, the one I chose was Small Graph (500x219 px) - HTML Link. You copy the link, edit your VM profile and in Personal Information > Signature you paste in the link.

Due to the current coronavirus crisis TV Licensing has stopped all home visits since 21 March. Also put on hold are prosecutions, debt chasing letters and scrapping free TV licences for millions of over-75s to 1 August. TV Licensing is also not contactable as it has closed its call centres.

As you have subscribed to Pay TV it will be hard to convince TV Licensing that you will never consume linear TV or VOD.

Hi

Yes, you need a licence to watch or record any live TV programme, on any channel. ... This applies to any provider you use, including BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, All 4, Sky Go, Virgin Media, BT TV, Apple TV, Now TV, YouTube, Roku and Amazon Prime Video.

Please check with https://www.tvlicensing.co.uk

Many thanks.
