Coax cable won’t fit into the back of the TV box

So I just set up my Virgin broadband, router is up and running perfectly. Just tried to set up my TV and the coax cable won’t fit into the back of the TV box, they’re both the same size. Am I missing something ridiculous?

The router coax input is smaller than the tv box coax input, so that fits. Why doesn’t the TV box!

Any help greatly appreciated...

Have another rummage in the box, there should be a small white adaptor

Hi AchillesCat, 

Thanks for posting and Welcome to the Community! 🙂 

As jb66 said, there should be a small white adapter in the box that fits onto the end of the Coaxial cable which will allow you to connect it to the V6 box. Did you manage to find it?

I’ve either thrown it away with the packaging, or there wasn’t one in there...

How would I go about getting a replacement?

You would be better phoning 150 and going down rhe TV Faults route as it could take up to a week before a Moderator answers your post.
