Block Pay Per View

Can anybody please explain why in this day and age of technology Virgin Media cannot block Pay to View for a customer, but just telling them it has to be done from the handset. I understand that each set-top box has its own handset, but when you have 4 boxes it means that you would need to use 4 different pin numbers. There must be way that it can be set-up the account that Pay to View is an option, and if the customer does not require it then it can be turned off.

Would be interested on users views on this or even a VM staff members view.

Re: Block Pay Per View

Hi lonman,

Thanks for your post,

If you go to parental controls within the settings on the box here you can then reset the pin code- you can then choose to have the same pin for each box if that's easier.

We do have the ability to put a block on your account but this would stop access to all On Demand content not just the pay per view.

Kind regards,

Re: Block Pay Per View

Sure, On Demand is basically any of the Catch Up features. and any film/ live event you would need to book and pay for, and potentially any Sky On Demand features you subscribe to.
