any thoughts on why my Wishlist to record all shows with Guy Martin in, decided to miss last nights showing on C4?

Happend to see a tweet about the show and when I checked it hadn't recorded on my shows

...has been working fine for a long time, just suddenly decided to skip this new show

What does it say in the hiccups list - where it reports if there was a clash or other reason?

The programme is repeated tomorrow

What are your settings in the Wish List?

My similar Wish List for Guy Martin picked up last night's recording (as well as the upcoming Japan one).

I can't check the exact search settings I have on the Wish List from here, but it's be worth having a look and maybe tweaking them?

(in the short term there's multiple repeat showing of last night's Tractor episode on a number of the Ch 4 channels that you can record directly).

I don't think it's that, as one of the few things I can see on the VM app from here is that mine is set for only in HD - I think the problem might lie in the search terms used, which I will check later when I get home.

It is that - I've tried it!

The "record only in HD" does not force it to record from an HD channel.  It only records an episode with the "HD' marker next to the episode details.

The OP has "Record only in HD" set in their posted image.

Like the "only record NEW" episodes is nothing to do with the NEW flag - it is based on other metadata.

OK, fair enough - I can only assume then it's a combination of the HD and those search terms?

even though the show was on 4HD, I appreciate C4 swapped its HD channel for normal quality... so maybe that created the hiccup

All I know is now that one wishlist has HD ONLY OFF, I'm seeing a ton of Guy Martin stuff in the future
